Heather's Views:
Behold I Make All Things New
Dear Ones,
The writer of Revelations wrote, "Behold I make all things new." This is God talking. It's really quite a promise! God's promise is that God makes all things new. However, God can only work through us so we might as well give up on God doing something for us or to us. Without our cooperation, the promise remains a dormant seed..
If you are to thrive in 2005, in what ways would your life be new? Would you have a better relationship with your spouse or friends? Would you create a healthier more vital body? Would you manage your money better? Would you carve out time to travel, learn a new hobby, or listen to your children or grandchildren? Whatever it is you can conceive and believe, you can achieve. Divine Principle is guiding you right now toward your best life yet. And that Principle is not bound by precedent. It only knows you as infinite possibilities, limitless potential. Your mind is within the Divine Mind, which is forever creating out of its own self-perception. Everything comes to you by right of consciousness.
If you are thinking that you have heard all this before, you are probably correct. But inspiration without application is simply hallucination. How do you apply what you know to court the Presence of God? The answer is in consistent spiritual practice. Consistent prayer, meditation, affirmations, sacred service and spiritual education are the components of that practice.
One of the best Christmas presents I received in 2004 was a story written by one of our new members and first year students, Juli Isola. It is a true story of transformation and renewal, which touched my heart. As you read it, perhaps you will be inspired to take or review a class or make a commitment daily to remember who you are.
My wish for you is that all things be made new for you by the renewing of your mind with love and wisdom.
Love,
Heather
